Nikki King


Bio: Born and raised in Miami, FL, Nikki moved to New York to pursue her BFA in dance and a minor in business at Marymount Manhattan College where she found Pilates. Ever since, Nikki has studied and practiced Pilates and then pursued her mat and full apparatus certification at the Kane School in 2018. In addition to teaching at BK Pilates, Nikki is a professional freelance dancer and works with companies around the city. She loves working with clients to find a better mind-body connection and helping clients reach their goals. Nikki loves working people with all kinds of movement background and experience!


Q: What is your favorite healthy snack and favorite meal?
NK: Favorite snack is a honeycrisp apple with peanut or almond butter!

Q: What is your favorite skincare line right now and do you have a routine that you would like to share? Most essential skin care tip? Answer any or all of the above!
NK: Glossier! My routine involves washing, toning, moisturizing and some hyaluronic acid serum!

Q: Do you have a wellness secret?
NK: I’m constantly discovering different methods of self care and wellness but I try to listen to my body and make sure I find the time to decompress and relax!

Q: What are some activities you like to do outside of Pilates?
NK: I’m a freelance dance artist so I’m usually rehearsing when I’m not teaching but I love to take dance class, yoga, run, and spend time with friends!

Q: What do you typically eat for breakfast?
NK: Oatmeal with almond or peanut butter!

Q: What is your favorite indulgence?
NK: Chocolate and peanut butter which is probably my favorite food.
